Awkwafina
Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood after she released a series of raps. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first musical encounter. She performed on the trumpet. In the following years, she took up traditional and hip-hop training. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. It wasn't until she graduated that she start focusing on music. Her track My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a viral hit via the Internet and later appeared on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the queef, a body positive track and the eye-catching NYC Bitchecity tour. The track that was published directly connected to the album Awkwafinas NYC, her guide to travel in 2015. Alongside being a published author, her other career was singing. As well as early shows like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed a number of major roles like Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
