Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American stage actress and producer, is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA from Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. On Broadway she's appeared on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Her film career is highlighted by her performances on Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. She is also well-known for her character on ABC's crime show High Incident.
