
Sara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently associated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor on the channel's shows 'Squawkon the Street' as well as Closing Bell'. She is an Ohio native, and was not at all interested in markets or currencies while in college. While attending New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. This is where she garnered her first experience working in business news. After that, she received the master's degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She completed a four-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. When she returned to the US in the fall, she was able to work for Bloomberg's offices in New York. She eventually became a TV anchor. CNBC hired her as a reporter in December 2013. She has served as co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange and 'Power Lunch', before landing the position on "Closing Bell' in 2018. Eisen is also a co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. One of the most prominent business journalists in the world, her main focus is global consumer news since she joined CNBC.
